Yesterday we, the clan, met at the Midway Best Western in Lansing for our annual Christmas celebration. After enjoying a deliciously long table of snacks and desserts, we met in the Capitol room for carolling and devotions. Some of the kids sang and played their intruments. Kelle, from Florida, showed a fantastic slideshow and then gave each of the families one to enjoy later.
The rest of the evening was spent meeting with some of our latecomers. It was also a great time for each of us.
Some of us didn't sleep very well. Maybe the beds were different. Maybe other reasons, but after a nice breakfast, we headed for home and started planning the next celebration at Somerset Beach Lodge.
To anyone reading this, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you have a spiritually blessed New Year in 2008.
